THE TABLE
Some conversations are worth coming to the table for.
Synopsis
Created by Durrell Brown, The Table is a globally minded unscripted series that brings ten people from different generations, cultures, faiths, identities and economic backgrounds together around one table and a shared meal.
Guided by a thoughtful facilitator, the guests confront timely subjects including race and class, faith and religion, relationships, politics, social justice, health, wellness and life choices. The goal is not forced agreement—it is honest conversation, deeper understanding and the discovery of common ground.
Beginning in Los Angeles and expanding to cities around the world, every table reflects its community while revealing the shared humanity that connects us all.
Tone and Style
The Table is intimate, cinematic, emotionally intelligent and courageously honest. It replaces the noise of traditional debate television with curiosity, vulnerability and meaningful dialogue.
Warm lighting, a minimalist setting and culturally inspired meals create an inviting atmosphere where laughter, disagreement, raw emotion and unexpected reconciliation can unfold naturally. The conversations are provocative but respectful, unfiltered but never sensationalized.
